Examination Tragedy

Back due to popular demand (actually just for the Wangsa Maju hantu..cannot mention name la ha...later kena pukul...lol), I reluctantly tried to find a topic for an update.

*after thinking for more than 10 min*
Alright, I still got nothing worth mentioning, so why not I start off with talking about the final examinations. We sat for two papers, the first being EWAPP (web module) and the second was ADBS (database module led by our Hantu's favourite lecturer/supervisor).

The ADBS module was notably more difficult than EWAPP because it had more theory concepts to remember and some calculation involved. Before the exam, the published timetable stated that the number of hours to complete the papers were 2 hours each.

On the examination day (Monday), the invigilators wrote 11:10am - 1:10am on the w
hiteboard for the EWAPP paper. The strange thing I noticed when I had settled down in the exam hall is that the front cover of the paper stated "1 hour 30 min". I quickly told the guy in front of me that the paper is 1.5 hours only, but don't know what he said to me in a not-so-shocking tone. So I figured he was already aware of it. As for myself, my senior had already told me in advanced that the paper will be 1.5 hours, and will not make any mistakes in time management. Since nobody in the exam hall brought up this issue in order to clarify, I might as well stay low.

1.5 hours had passed, the invigilator reminded students to attach their details on the paper and stop writing. Everyone was shocked! That was the moment I was waiting for, seeing everyone's shocked, surprised and blur faces! As we went out of the hall, students can be heard cursing. This kind of situation will not happen if they had clarified earlier. Otherwise, it could just have been a case of not looking carefully at the question paper before proceeding to the answers. And the guy in front of me was complaining of not having enough time to complete the paper. I asked him "why not? I told you it was 1.5 hours." and he replied "jibai you got tell me meh?! Not enough time la!". Clearly, he didn't listen to me...

I really hope all of these people who sat for the exam knew what their mistake was.

1st thing: Dont want to listen to me because you think I'm a fool.

2nd thing: Never read question paper and straight away answer like you know everything.
3rd thing: Don't want to admit own mistakes (this is the worst!), keep on blaming others and making a scene by over-reacting.

"why so serious?"

- "because if you're not serious, things like this will happen"

The picture below was taken on Wednesday, after the ADBS exam.
