Be One With Your Car

One should always be calm when driving on the road. If you're emotionally unstable before or during the course of driving, bad things may happen and will possibly be fatal. I realised this just now (or perhaps long time ago?) that driving not only takes skills, but also the heart and mind.

I dont know if this is scientifically proven, but it is definitely true when logically speaking. Now, what the heck am i trying to say?! I also dont know...haha, maybe im just feeling good about what happened just now. Hoho~

So what exactly happened just now? You know APIIT-lah. Always have the "double-parking" issue at the car park beside the campus building. After calling the guy whose car is behind mine, i waited for him. Later on, the guy came and started his white Proton Satria. I waited patiently in my car while humming to the songs playing in my handphone. As i peeked at the rear mirror with my sunglasses on, i could see that he was a noob when his car began to cry out loud (alarm la tu).

Alamak...the fellow was struggling with the alarm. After a while, he panicked and straight away started the engine without bother about the alarm anymore cause he knew i was waiting. And then his car jerked forward suddenly. So panic until reverse also can mati engine meh~ Fine la, maybe once in a while mistake only. But his car died on him again.

Zzz, i came out of the car calmly and asked what was the problem. He conversed with me in cantonese...saying that the car is not his and that his friend was in the exam hall. He told me he got problem starting the car and asked me to try starting it. I turned the key and yup...the car jerked, but knew what was the problem already, haha...

The gear was initially set into 1st gear. So now that is cleared up, i turned the key and voila, the car started (yay....NOT). I went back to my car while he entered his car to reverse. Again the car died on him...(-_-")

I came out again asking him what was the problem, and he said he was not sure how to handle a manual car. Aisey...ok-la...i drive for him...This time, the gear was set in the reverse position, lol. No wonder it died on him. But i admit that the gear box is so small that i cant tell which gear i was in. I stepped on the clutch, and reversed...omg...the car really felt like dying anytime...maybe because the clutch is too "shallow" (means releasing the clutch a bit would result in an instant death...err...mati engine).

And so the reverse process is done, i reversed my car and parked beside just to see if he had any problems going back into the parking area. Then i drove off feeling proud, wahhahaha! So, kids...always remember that driving must come from a good heart and mind. If not, later accident happen, who responsible oh? (purposely used lousy english here lol)

For those interested, please feel free to watch them (some are recorded with "special" commentary by yours truly). There aren't many, however, so sorry to disappoint you (who cares anyway).

With that done, im now moving on to the Devil May Cry 4 game. "Ying dou BANG BANG seng ah!!!"

Barbeque (i hope babi kill you)

*Contains VIOLENT LANGUAGE*

How shall i start writing this post...hmm...let's start by stating all the things that made me (hmm, not so good starting point, let's try again)

A few weeks ago, i was informed about a bbq "party" that was about to take place (which was yesterday), and i was "invited". You see, i have a feeling that the reason i am being invited is because of (im not telling you). As sensitive and wary of such plot, that i am, i decided to give an "i'll see how" response. I was thinking...why have a bbq party when assignment submission is just around the corner? Why have it at all? Is it for fun? Is it held so that we have a gathering with those who are rarely with us? If so, why arent they the star of the night? If i remember correctly, one of the "stars" went home early cause she was expecting the bbq to start at 7pm. So, thats not the reason. Simple, the reason is (im not telling you).

And then there's this change of venue. From one fella's place in wangsa maju to someone's place in puchong. Why the change? Hmm..let's see...oh ya! The reason is because the planner is afraid i might not show up and (im not telling you also). So, when things are set, new venue in puchong. Now...the only thing left is the date. Again, this has changed many times to accommodate a certain someone's timetable (im not freaking telling you!). There are many times when dates changed back and forth from friday to saturday, and im sick of it. Make up your mind!

Alright, enough of that already. Now, for the night itself. As expected, the planner has done his "one-man-show" quite impressively and all thats left is finding the host's house. Note that the planner IS NOT the host. He is merely USING the host's house so that (deng, i wont tell). What kind of **** planner is that?! I was still able to tolerate that, fortunately. The journey begins to his house.

I drove to Kinrara's housing area, searched for the house with the given address in my hand. I looked all around, circled around looking for the house, but no luck. I called many "friends" and they all gave me the "i dont know where's his house" answer. Apparently they all met up in tpm, and one of them led the way to his house.

So, what i did, i called up the planner himself, asked him for the directions...and he DARE TO GIVE ME THE "i dont know how to tell you his house" reply. Fcuk you man, you are the PLANNER, why are you being a jerk at this moment? Cant you see you are being irresponsible for EVERYTHING during that night? Fine, i slammed the phone and called up the host instead. He said he was busy (busy driving? busy tfking? busy doing WHAT?!!) so again...i slammed the phone. I called another "friend" whom i thought was with him, asked him to describe how to go to the place...but all i get is "aiya, i dont know la, you call him la". Dei, if i called him and he told me already, i wouldnt be calling you la...stupid...

I refered back to the sms he gave me regarding the directions to his house. Yup, im pretty much at the right place, just no house number 20...I tried asking the guard house regarding the address that i was given, and he said "masuk dalam saja, boleh nampak". Diu...the guard himself show me wrong direction. Fcuking idiot...

I waited alone in the car with the lights off, lost all hope and even thought of going back to my home to have sweet bak-kut-teh with my parents. Let me recap the situation:
  1. All of my lovely "friends" dont know the host's house
  2. The planner is a noob, only cares about (i wont tell la...)
  3. The host was busy and couldnt describe the direction to his house cause he's chinese educated (learn english la sei fei noob! dont know why people call you God when you cant speak english, diu)
Ok, so when the planner arrived to come "guide me" to the destination...he drove his car on the WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD. Nearly bang oncoming car...fcuking noob...Want to park car also never put signal and i almost bang his rear. Somemore dare to reverse immediately! Bugger, he really let me horn kow him...already destroyed my mood, somemore want to enrage me?!

I finally reached the house and confronted the sei fei noob hai. I asked him straight to his face:

Sic: Just now when i called you, where were you?
God: Err...uh..huh?
Sic: Just now i called you ah! Where were you?!
God: At home
Sic: You were at home and you couldnt help me by giving directions?
God: I dont know how to give
Sic: (fcuking tell me your address and at least come out FIND me laaaa) *walks away angrily*

Wonder why i have such "friends". Sometimes i wish i could isolate myself from them. Sometimes i wish there was someone who REALLY CARES and not just fake it out, and USING me. AAAAAAARrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I GO SLEEP NOW! Angry like shit now...frus like crazy...

Musical Shows

The other day when i was chatting to a buddy regarding a movie, he mentioned that i will definitely "like" Sweeney Todd. I was like..."uh...who's that? Sounds gay to me." Sure enough, he explained about that gay and yep...he was indeed gay (well not really gay, just...ah nvm). So...yeah...Sweeney Todd is a barber who kills his victim in his barber shop, while singing. Yes...SINGING. How gay is that!

He's right about me "liking" the show. The following conversation took place:

Nic: You know phantom of the opera?
Sic: Ya, the movie or the novel?
Nic: Movie
Sic: OMG...musical show??!!!1One!11!!
Nic: Ya, lol
Sic: NnnnoOOooooo... do not want!!!11! Kill a bit, then sing?
Nic: Is kill while singing...lol
Sic: wth...singing = not nice
Sic: imagine transformers movie become a musical show~~
Nic: then become kids show already LOL
Sic: then imagine Armageddon become musical show~~
Sic: Twinkle twinkle lil meteor, how i wonder what you are...~~
Nic: XD
Sic: Potong stimzzzz
Sic: Then imagine juon is a musical show~~
Sic: Ghost come out that time...suddenly got "bollywood ghost" dancing also
Sic: Alamak~~rosak habis movie...
Nic: I'm a ghost...and he is my son~~ lalala~~

And this is why i dont like musical shows...i still remember watching "The Sound of Music" and now i know why my father used to say "ceh, not nice to watch wan" and my mom will be like "what?! you think your F1 VERY nice to watch is it??!!"

(-_-")

P.s. Can anyone describe to me how an AvP movie would be like if it's become a musical show? Hmm...Curious...

Different Levels of Noob

Its not easy being a noob. People will look down on you and disrespect you for the noob that you are. Life is not easy when you're a noob because everything will be damn bloody difficult to catch up.

I was just arguing (friendly argument) about comparing who is more noob than who, and since the person is my senior, i have deducted that i am 1 year noober than him. He claims he is noober than me, and then i thought to myself, "what if there are different levels of noobism?".

Let me list down all the levels of noobism i can think of starting from the highest:

  1. Uber nub (spelling wrong on purpose)
  2. Nub noob (wrong spelling to stress the level of noobism)
  3. Totally noob
  4. Noob-like
  5. Noob
  6. Not-very-noob
  7. Not-so-noob
  8. Act-noob
This is only for the noob level, which is before the beginner's level. So imagine what level i was at during my foundation in APIIT and what level of noobism i'm at NOW. I'm quite certain i achieved level 6...hahaha!

P.s. But seriously, i know "some" people who are currently at level 8.

It's Alive...It's ALIVE!!!

As of 12th March 2008, my wife is being brought back to life...or shall i say, being "reincarnated". She began to breathe again, half mechanized by circuitry running through her veins and organs. Due to that, she makes rather more sound/noise than before even when she is in standby mode. The evil genius that brought her back to life reminded me to spend more time with her as her lifespan may not be guaranteed. As he went on, he mentioned that she is only satisfied if i accompany her for more than 2 hours a day.

Any less than that would mean that she might go crazy again. Ever heard of the saying "humans create monsters, monsters kill their creators". It's something like this in my case. Anyway, the journey to the evil genius' place was insane. Drove all the way to KL and missed the turning to enter the parking lot...because of this, i had to go all the way to Lake Gardens (Taman Tasik Perdana) to make a U-turn. Argh, roads in KL are really terrible. If not having U-turns is not bad enough, wait till you see the amount of 1 way roads. Just as you thought you can turn round that junction, BAM, another 1 way road leading to god-knows-where.

Oh yea, no pictures of my wife this time. Just the pic of the road sign i managed to capture while driving (WHAT??!!).

Multiplayer Gaming

Multiplayer games have started to become more popular than single player games during this generation of games. Why? Multiplayer games bring friends and gamer communities together where they can share their experiences and talk about it, or sometimes laugh about it. However, multiplayer games may have some consequences during playtime, which is what i'm about to discuss.

I enjoy owning the crap out of others (anyway, who doesn't?), but i like doing it with a bit of strategy and sometimes just plain fragging (no thinking involved). But what i really like about multiplayer games is that you can cooperatively plan your mission on-the-fly depending on the situation. This feeling of self-satisfaction can be very rewarding if the team is well-coordinated and communication is the key to success.

The sad part of this is that some players who play these games do not even bother to cooperate, thus lack of communication. Some players prefer to be a one-man-army (if so, why the heck bother to play coop multiplayer?!) so that they can show off how good they are in gaming. It's not important which side wins, i'm just looking for a fair game where everyone shares the same mind and effort into making the gaming experience unique in its own way. I do not care WHO wins, it's HOW you win that counts.

With that said, when i read through some game forums the other day, i found this article to be quite true (in fact, it's damn true!). I'm still looking forward to my PS3 Year End Project. Multiplayer is going to be so cool...

Death

Death. A word that describes something or someone that is no longer in this world. It brings sorrow and grief as a whole and often results in remembering good times as well as the not-so-good ones.

The time was 2:45am, 2nd March 2008, on an early Sunday morning when i was surfing the web on my personal computer and suddenly that tiny little voice in my head suggested..."hey, it's time to rest...go play some game now". And then i told myself "why not?".

After setting up to play with my wife, who was sleeping at that time, i nudge her a few times to wake her up. i held her hands but it felt cold like a dead bride's. I opened her blanket and nudged her again, no response. And then i went close to her face, she was not breathing! I double checked her heartbeat...not pounding! Her lips were pale. Suddenly i felt like the world's on my shoulders. Everything is stumbling and crashing down...flashbacks of the times i spent with her began to run through my mind.

Is this it? It's only 2 months after our anniversary, how could you do this to me. You accompanied me through thick and thin, and now you left me without saying goodbye? Is that how you want me to feel? I...*sigh*

Valentine's Day passed without having me getting you anything or any special moments...*Holds her hand* I'm so sorry I couldn't do anything...sleep tight and may you rest in peace...

*at least she went away peacefully in her slumber and didn't suffer a painful death*

Maybe after this i should be getting myself a PS3. We'll see how everything turns out. Wahaha, i smell a new wife coming into my life soon...very soon...
