English Drama

Our second assignment for the week is to make an English drama. No specific title is given, so we are actually assigned to do a free topic, which is good! 20 students in my class, 3 groups altogether, so it would be 7-7-6. 6 members are good enough for us to act out a drama. Wy Howe, Kwok Sheng (pronounced as 'Kok Seng'), Kwong Yeow, Swee Fun, and Sin Wah are in my group. What drama did we choose? Hehe, we thought for quite some time about it. Suggestions such as LOTR, Matrix, Titanic, and even PCK came into our minds...but don't know who came up of Doraemon...and we chose it because the characters' roles fit perfectly!

Sin Wah, the short and almost botak guy will be playing as Doraemon, tall Wy Howe will become Giant, Swee Fun...of course she will be Sizuka...(duh...), Kwok Sheng will be Chong Meng cause he's somewhat handsome (cough), and spectacle guy Kwong Yeow will play Nobita. Guess who i'll play? =p *hint: someone short and babbles a lot*

The rough storyline:

1) 1^st day of college, introduction of characters

2) Teacher gives assignment (2 weeks) and a 2 hour exam for that particular subject (during exam week)

3) Nobita asks help from Doraemon (rejected), Giant and Sinyu creating some conflict (fights with Nobita)

4) Sizuka helped Nobita because she pity him. Assignment done.

5) Nobita asks her out for a candle light dinner date (to show appreciation and perhaps have other intentions?)

6) Chong Meng happens to walk pass and noticed how beautiful she was in the gown. He starts to have feelings for her.

7) Next few days (during weekend) he asks her out for a date. Sizuka rejected because she wants to finish her assignment and spend time with her family.

8) Chong Meng misunderstood her intentions and joins the dark side.

9) Exam week. Giant and Sinyu were caught copying by Chong Meng but he didn’t inform the teacher.

10) He blackmails Giant and Sinyu saying that he will tell the teacher about what they did during the exam. Chong Meng succeeds in manipulating Giant and Sinyu.

11) Dirty plans start to arise.

12) Sinyu and Giant under the command from Chong Meng walloped Nobita.

13) Nobita asks Doraemon for help (crying mercilessly)

14) Doraemon gives a small futuristic item.

15) Doraemon arranges a meeting in the park.

16) Everyone uses/threatened by the item. All calm down, sit down and confesses/discusses (but failed)

17) Everyone fights, forcing Doraemon to use the ultra super gigantic atom bomb.

18) Everyone scared, finally confesses (succeeds)

19) Found out that Sizuka likes Doraemon (for some reason)

20) Everyone gets disappointed by the news. Doraemon was shocked and surprised.

Btw, amendments of names for the gang:

Doraemon = Pocket Boy (always pronounced as 'Pocket Cat' by Wy Howe lol)
Nobita = Nick
Sizuka = Susan
Sinyu = Derrick
Chong Meng = Alec
Giant = Gary

Hopefully we'll be able to get the scripts done within the first week, and the rest such as background and the music scores will be done within the second week. Great teamwork! So proud, muahaha! =p
