Alright, finally had some free time (wait, that's an understatement...should be LOTS of free time) in office to talk about the things that annoy me when Im watching my movie, either on the big screen or the idiot box (what is idiot box? go search the meaning yourself..).
Countdown to the things that make me go UGHHH when watching movie:
10) Distracting noises/sound from the environment - from where i live, this can only be achieved by the ever almighty place of worship, the Mosque. Other than that, noises coming from the crowd and annoying ahbeng/ahlien ringtones in the cinemas rarely happens.
9) People trying to act smart - Lots of cases of these happen between old folks, aunties and uncles. This happens when watching their favourite serial drama. Sometimes one uncle/auntie will go "ha! i know who killed him! Must be his grandfather's sister's son's wife's cousin sister-in-law etc etc". Keep to yourself la...dont potong people's stim can or not...
8) People walking across your line of sight, repeatedly blocking your view until you have to say "oi, im watching show la, dont block...***** no manners..."
.
.
.
.
I know you guys cant bear reading all 10 points, so i'll just skip to number 1.
.
.
.
1) People suffering from blur-case syndrome - Seriously, this is the ultimate annoyance factor. Imagine watching the intro for a CSI show and suddenly a friend/family member goes "who did that?". Diu...watch the show and find out laaaaa...dont act noob please~~ Your questions will be answered right before the end of the show, ok??
There...i made a list of the factors that make me go UGHHH when watching movies/shows. Hopefully in future, i can refer back to this list for any updating to be done.

2012 Movie Review
When this movie first came out in the cinemas, I've heard plenty of hype that it was a great movie, a "must-watch" movie of the year. I was a bit skeptical about the movie, but didnt get to watch in in the cinemas (for some unknown reason). The trailer looked promising with action packed in less than 5 min.
Well, the trailer was (as you know it) just a trailer. The best parts of the movie is already in the trailer and there is nothing else jaw-dropping left in the movie. I watched for the first 30 min and I'm already feeling sleepy. I guess the biggest mistakes made by the producers of the movie is to include random technical jargon all over the place, stuff that relate to geological and astronomical studies and what-not. 30 min was wasted on that, not to mention nonsense, lame, and political dialogues that bring no meaning to the whole story. At least PJ's King Kong did a better storytelling of the background of the characters that serve different purposes later in the movie.
Apparently, in 2012, in the biggest and most dominant country in the whole world, their citizens STILL do not realize that the "government" are all lies. They STILL believe them when they are asked to "calm down" when reality suggests they should be panicking. Really bodoh *facepalm*. Also, many people said this movie was "action packed all the way from start till end". I dont see any "action". unless you people mean "verbal action" la~. Things like "we have to get out of blablabla, get to blablabla. Come on! Hurry blablabla. Get that blablabla. We gotta make it out here alive blablabla."
And I really really hope they dont mean the CG...because CG dont mean anything other than to make you "waaa, you saw that?! the car went thru a collapsing glass building!!! yeng wor!!!". Seriously, dont...i will kill you for that. IMO, "The Sinking of Japan" did better overall although the CG was quite fake. THAT movie was touching, saddening and shows the fight for survival and ultimate sacrifice. 2012 on the other hand...is like a ride in the jurassic park which lasts for (yep...you guessed it) less than 5 min.
There are so many negative things i want to say, but i just cant remember the movie. It is that bad! I wanted to turn off the dvd player after 1 hour into the movie...but didnt because my parents were watching (my mother was totally oblivious to what's happening on-screen and contributed to my UGHHH factor)
**UGHHH factor = things that i dont like when watching a movie
hmm, i really should create a post just for that, just realised i didnt make one before

No Need Title Laaaa
Have you ever played games, as in video games, before? Dont know why some people always say certain games are fake/not real/nonsense. Yea, games are fake...that's why it is a DAMN GAME. You want real? Then go rob a bank, play with the police, gamble your life in prison, try it! Its fun...i can assure you...Games are meant to be fake, come on. Why nobody ever complained "hey, look! It's Tetris...so fake...i wont play" WTF, obviously there is no such thing as "falling-bricks-which-will-twist-and-turn-at-will-in-mid-air-to-form-lines-at-the-floor-just-to-disappear-and-be-repeated-all-over-again-until-the-bricks-actually-fall-faster-and-then-the-game-over-screen-pops-up-mysteriously". To say that a game is fake just proves how irrational you can be in making decisions. I'll just go ahead and assume you are one of those people who play Final F-king Fantasy games (that game is boring as hell for me, but i wont say its fake, unlike you, because the combat system is very much like playing Chess which is turn-based...). LOL, if US and the middle east are going at their throats like turn-based strategy games, i will be amused. Seriously, who goes to war saying "ok, your turn now".
What-ever la...Maybe you're just the kind of person who does not game, very well, i can understand that...but dont let me catch you playing those flash games on FB because i will (and i mean i WILL) go up to you and scold you for being a hypocrite that you are, and always will be.
On a side note, Im going for my company's annual dinner tonight...so here's hoping i wouldn't come back empty handed. High hopes for the following lucky gifts:-

No Need Title...
How sucky can my life be? I mean, my WHOLE DAMN life is full of ffkers. Shit, being an ffker damn nice la now is it?! Fine, I can play this game too. Or probably not, because I'm a damn nice guy to begin with. "hey, look it's mr nice guy, lets ffk him...he wont be angry with us". Yeah, take advantage all you want, karma is gonna bite you in the ass one day.
On a side note, I've gotta get my body checked soon since being such a nice guy is utterly unfair as I began experiencing all kinds of shit going through my body. Since college I've been experiencing pain in my heart (yes...real pain, although other kinds of "heart pain" were present during that time). The pain is like a needle pricking from the inside out, but rarely happens. It happens at random times.
Oddly enough, it doesn't happen when I'm excited; such as playing outdoor games, laughing out loud, watching pr0n, or breathing heavily whatsoever. It just happens randomly just like yesterday when i was sitting down calmly programming a software while it struck me from within *ughH~~* and its gone.
Is it my heart or my lungs? It is always at the same place (which is at the heart). Thinking hard whether to tell parents about this or not...cause Im their only son...and what if diagnosed...and said if I could not live long *touch wood*...what would be their reaction...damn...i wanna cheat death lehhhhh...wanna have a family with grand kids first before i go...*denggg, emo-ing already*. Bah, go rest 1st...

No Need Title la...
Feel so tired. As i close my eyes, images and thoughts begin to fill my mind, as if dreaming. It's not that im sleepy, it's just that i dont know what/how to do my current task (which is also being developed by another colleague). He says he will check but...zzz...check so long meh...teach me also la...
Remember the last few posts, i mentioned about letting go a bird and it will eventually come back to you? Well, that's no bird. That's a FISH! While birds KNOW when to come back to its owner, FISHES would NEVER come back. I just hope the new year doesn't come soon enough...Everything will change, but we will see if it is for the better or worse. So far I've seen, it's going downhill. Oh well, look at the bright side, there are games coming out in jan, and feb has CNY and vday holidays =p
(deng, already 30th dec 09 now...i post so damn late...outdated already)

No Need Title...
I'm currently addicted to several songs, but 2 particular songs that stand out right now is Kelly Clarkson's "Already Gone" and Taylor Swift's "You belong with me". Funny how these 2 songs contradict (this word offended some gay basterd quite a while back LOL) with each other. The former is about a couple who broke up because she loves him too much that she must back off from the relationship. The latter is, however, about the girl who is jealous of a guy who's close to her but having a relationship with a girl who doesn't really understand him.
"WTF eric, since when you listen to love songs?!" Yup, I have been emo-ing for the past week (end of nov 09) or so. But not to worry, it's a good thing. Keeps me alive and HUMAN. (yes, i do realise it is now end of DEC 09. Slowpoke is slow...)
While I'm feeling these two songs, there might be other people *cough cough* feeling the same (possibly about me?). Haha, thinking too much already...how can it be? Nah, no such thing...no no no...impossible...blah! nah...scratch that. Its freaking end of Dec now.
Moving on...I just realised that my taste for music has changed yet once again. Let's recap on my music taste history:
2002 - 2007 (rock/hard rock/alt rock)
2008 - 2009 (techno/dance)
2009 (pop/rnb/love)
From years 2002 till 2007, I was a Form 3 student up till my 2nd year in college. In 2008, I began my degree course till the middle of 2009, when I started work. It was then when I changed taste in music again.
What will be my taste for music in future? Frank Sinatra? Beethoven? Oh noes~~ don't want to be like my dear cousin...lol!

No Need Title La
Lately, I have always been comparing myself with others just to see how much luckier, better-looking, and fortunate than I am. Is it me, or am I really sensitive when I always feel that people are watching me in public thinking that I look like a weirdo?
The fact is, I am being an underweight for a long long time already, but my parents always say I look like this because they too were like that during their age. Is it their genes that make me who I am now, or are my daily activities and diet affecting me physically? When I put my arms forward, I can see my neck bones jutting out. If i stretch my arms backwards, I can see my rib cage bones. Shit, I dont even have 6 pacs. When I'm carrying heavy boxes, my arms will display not muscles, but bones...pffffttttt
When I look into the mirror, I see myself as being perfect, but when I step out of the house...everyone's bigger and fitter. Could it be a matter of my fashion choice? If I wear an M shirt (I'm S-sized by the way), people would say I look small. If I wear an S shirt, people would say "wtf, eat more rice la...diu, no girl would want you as their boyfriend la...cant even protect her with your size". -____________-"
And then, there are times I often compare myself to those who play basketball. Why? Because apparently, chix dig these guys...VERY MUCH. Why? Because apparently, they have the moves and style and they look sexy doing it in the bball court. How come chix dont dig badminton players, or paintballers, or table tennis players? Why?! It's like the same when I say "guys dig OLs", but that's just being stereotypical.

What Is Love?
What is love? How do you define love? When does love happen? How do you show love? How do you know if love is in the air? All these questions make me wonder, do girls (and guys) really truly understand what love is all about, and not just some kind of cheap crush or puppy love?
I have been thinking for the past few days and came up with several definitions that would define love based on past experience (not that i have had that many relationships before...just...experiences lah~)
Is love:
1) About the level of appearances of both parties?
E.g: A girl notices a handsome guy and she goes up to him. The guy, who believes in love at 1st sight, also finds her to be pretty and starts a relationship soon after. Everything else will matter later during their relationship.
2) About mutual understanding between two parties?
By having the same family background/situation, they two parties understand how the other person feels because s/he had experienced it before, and therefore being able to provide solutions, feedback, and consultation. The chemistry works somewhere in between the process and voila, you have "love"!...or is it?
3) Of similar interests?
Having the same sense of humour/movie and music taste/outdoor activities. I would like to refer this as being compatible with each other as it makes it very easy to get along with each other. But does it mean anything more than just "best friends"?
4) Caring for one another?
When one person notices even the slightest of difference in that special someone, could that lead to love? Of course, it must be a 2-way flow because that shows that the 2 of them are actually concerned for one another, thus noticing the differences and/or change of behaviour patterns. Some might say that it is a common thing to care for another as friends, but such minor details such as a change of diet (for example) over the past week/month might be enough to make one realize (because he is always watching her...). How about giving encouragement when the other person is experiencing low self-esteem?
5) Restricted to the financial status of another?
Does love linger around those with the same financial status? Can there be love between the poor and the rich, or somewhere in the middle? Does ego play a role here, or do women only look for rich men to support them in future? What happens if the men is unable to support, can there still be love?
6) One who can bring happiness to another?
Some women prefer men who can provide them with happiness. Happiness in the sense that actions and verbal communications that could provide laughter. Afterall, a happy couple is a healthy couple, right? However, I have experienced making others laugh, but I dont see the connection between us. So, could it be a factor?
7) Developed from a couple who always quarrel?
I have only seen this happen in dramas. Dont know if it could really happen in reality. Please let me know if you experienced such events before as i am interested to know more about it.

Suitable song to be played now: Your Love Is A Lie - Simple Plan
Imagine a contractor who has already completed building 99% of a skyscraper in the middle of a busy city. Assuming the weather is calm, the plan goes well, and the hired labourers are all paid well with high motivation. All of a sudden, a meteor comes plummeting from the sky straight into the center of the building under construction. The building collapses, crashing down on the streets below, creating a domino effect on other nearby buildings. Thick dust rise up to form heavy clouds and fill the city with polluted air. Yala, i know most of you watched 2012 already...but that's just a movie. My feelings are real leh, words can only describe so much. *Sigh* Actually I felt this on Friday the 13th (last week) but now only posting it because I needed some cooldown time over the weekend.
People say that "there are many fish in the sea~". I say f*** you, all the nice fish let fisherman catch jor! I use fishing rod and bait to catch 1 fish, the fisherman use big net to catch MANY FISH. Diu...where got fish left for me leh~ I use what quality fishing rod or bait also no use already la! And there was an instance when I actually almost caught a fish, and then I looked closely at its fin. #%^#*! got the #%#%* tag on it! Malang betul, have to throw the fish back to where it belongs.

No Need Title lah...
Ok, so from now onwards, I'm gonna be keeping all the feelings to myself, the unhappy ones that is. I must train myself not to explode in front of the public. It is for the better, as my first impression is much more important. I will not act like there was something wrong, as if hiding behind an angel's mask. IMHO, letting others realise their mistakes have more effect than showing them their mistakes. Yup, if they do realise, i guess it shall be their burden to handle the guilt. I dont know why, but the devil within is always forcing me to return to the usual emo side of me. Is that what I really am? Am I better off that way, or do i continue putting on this angel's mask and pretend to be a nice guy? They say that bad guys get the best chicks. Hmm...I guess I'll play Mr Nice Guy for a while more just to see how things turn out (and also to keep my working image).
Eric, they always say "grasp the bird too tightly in your hands will only suffocate it. sometimes you have to learn to let go in order for the bird to come back into your hands". Well, I have been trying to let go, but why isn't it coming back? Am I missing something? If you know, please...guide me...already so lonely...somemore wanna let go...I've got nothing else left behind...lonely...
You know one thing I enjoy doing? Singing out loud karaoke style to the tunes of my mp3 player at home. Cant get any better stress reliever than that. It cleanses the mind and the soul. Sometimes I would just sing out aloud in my car while driving, you know, winding down the windows, turning up the volume, and just do the headbanging motion and tapping my fingers on the steering wheel. Cant do that when a passenger is with me though (shy mah).
When I die one day (come on, let's be realistic), during my funeral, I want this song to be played: "Be in the Mirror". Such a sad song can only be felt by those who experienced pain and suffering. Not that I suffered a lot in my life, I just feel that it might be the most suitable song to convey the mood. Makes it more touching and has the "you shall be missed" feeling, haha...
